1. Acceptance of this disclaimer
By booking, attending or taking part in any class, session or programme at Ynox Pilates ("we", "us", "the studio"), or by using this website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to this disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not attend our classes.
2. Health and medical advice
Our classes, including Reformer Pilates, Pregnancy and Desk Relief sessions, are for general fitness and wellbeing. They are not medical treatment, physiotherapy or a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or care.
Please speak to a doctor or other qualified healthcare professional before you start, especially if you have an injury, a chronic condition, high or low blood pressure, heart or respiratory problems, osteoporosis, recent surgery or any condition that exercise could affect. Any information on this website is general and may not suit your circumstances.
3. Assumption of risk
Pilates is low-impact, but all physical activity carries some risk. These risks include muscle strains and sprains, joint or back discomfort, dizziness, fatigue, falls, and in rare cases more serious injury. Reformer equipment has moving carriages, springs, ropes and straps, which can cause pinching, bruising or injury if used incorrectly.
By taking part, you accept these risks and agree that you take part voluntarily and at your own risk, to the extent permitted by law.
4. Pregnancy and special conditions
If you are pregnant, postnatal, or recovering from an injury or illness, you must get approval from your doctor or healthcare provider before joining any class, and you must tell your instructor before each session. Our instructors will suggest suitable options, but we cannot guarantee that any exercise is right for your body. Stop immediately and seek medical help if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, bleeding, or anything that feels wrong.
Desk Relief sessions are meant to ease everyday stiffness. They do not treat or cure any medical condition.
5. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate information about your health, injuries and pregnancy status, and update us when it changes.
- Follow your instructor's guidance and use equipment only as shown.
- Work within your own limits. You are free to rest, modify or stop at any time.
- Arrive on time, wear suitable clothing and grip socks, and avoid eating a heavy meal just before class.
- Do not attend if you are unwell, contagious or feeling unsafe to exercise.
Results vary from person to person. We do not promise any particular health, fitness or weight outcome.

11. Questions
Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about safety, fees and what to expect.
Do I need a doctor's approval before my first class?
We recommend it if you are pregnant, injured, recovering from surgery or living with a medical condition. If you are unsure, check with your doctor first.
Is Pilates safe if I am pregnant?
Many women exercise safely during pregnancy, but every pregnancy is different. Get your doctor's approval, tell your instructor before each class, and stop if anything feels wrong.
What if I get hurt during a class?
Tell your instructor straight away so they can help and stop the exercise. For anything more than mild discomfort, please seek medical attention. We would also like to hear about it so we can follow up.
Can I cancel or reschedule a booked class?
Yes, if you let us know within the notice period in section 6. Late cancellations and no-shows may count as a used class.
Are the fees refundable?
Our standard policy is shown in section 6. Please message us on WhatsApp if you have a special circumstance, and we will do our best to help.
Will Pilates cure my back or neck pain?
Pilates can help build strength and ease everyday stiffness, but it is not a medical treatment, and we cannot promise specific results. Please see a healthcare professional for persistent pain.
